Two things are a priority now. First is to create awareness amongst the general public how Astrology and Gemstones can be powerful tools for life optimization. Second is to formulate an educational and training program for Gem Therapy where those inclined can study and master the best practices that deliver results. As of today there is no standardized educational program in this field. With our background, client interaction and gem advising of 20 years I think Gemstoneuniverse.com can contribute significantly in this direction.

What has been your biggest challenge in achieving your success?

The biggest challenge for me in achieving success is the internal battle one faces, when one is not just a working woman but also a mother! Meeting timelines and pushing work related goals along with bringing up children can be two goals that pull you in opposite directions and dividing time between the two can become very challenging.

What has been your greatest achievement personally?

I have quite a few worldly accomplishments in my kitty among which also stands being awarded the CSR Miss Super Brain of India in 1999. But if one asks me today, my biggest personal achievement is the happiness each client brings back to share – it could be anything – a new job, overcoming depression/ grief, being able to rise above debt situations, better relationships, being blessed with children and many more. Making meaningful changes in other lives has been my greatest achievement.

If you weren’t doing what you do now, what would you be doing?

Writing and painting – for sure. Creating something new, something joyous will always remain.

Who has been your biggest inspiration?

My biggest inspiration has been my Guru, who has taught me to think of greater good – how one can grow in synergy and harmoniously with everyone around. One is only on competition with one’s own pulling down tendencies.

What does the future hold for you?

More knowledge, more power to do what I do and open blue skies, greeting me with sunshine and freedom to create whatever I want lies ahead. Gemstoneuniverse.com would definitely be expanding its footprint to have presence across the world and touch any more lives positively.

About Abhijita:

Abhijita KulshreshthaBrought up in the pristine environment of the quaint hill cantonment of Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh, I finished my school education there and moved on to Chandigarh for higher studies. After finishing my formal education, I had professional stints with some big names in the media and academia as well – Times of India, MICA, RK Swamy BBDO etc. before settling into the serendipitous career choice of being an Astrologer and a Planetary Gem Advisor. My own foray into astrology was guided by the desire to get some answers, to find my higher purpose and to quell the restlessness within. And at the same time, the romance with gemstones started when I witnessed first hand, what a great tool they are for personal transformation!
I am a voracious reader and love to write and paint in my free time. I am married and I have two children aged 12 and 5 and live in Bangalore.

Besides the above I am a painter by passion & hobby. I am a very passionate painter who also has a great life as an entrepreneur and is a regular contributor with Huff Post India, Zliving Healthsite, Omtimes.com with a variety of authored pieces. Here are some examples of my work:
