kavita nalwa featured

kavita nalwaI am a TV celebrity fitness trainer with my own fitness concept ‘Kavita’s Yobics’. I come from a sports background family and I was myself an athlete when I was younger. I have also been a TV anchor and did anchoring all across the globe with many famous Bollywood actors. I have also been a motivational speaker, writer and a poet and I love writing my own blog of poems.

What are you up to at the moment?

I recently put on a free Yobics fitness event in Pune which was very successful. I am also teaching my Yobics workout to children in schools. I’d love to reach more children in other schools and also professionals working in companies to give them advice on keeping healthy though this fantastic workout.

What has been your biggest challenge?

I don’t usually let challenges stand in my way. I believe that when your intentions are good and you work hard to achieve

your goals then no challenge can stop you. I am living my dream. My Yobics is not my career or even my passion – it’s my life and I live it!

What has been your greatest personal achievement?

I love working out with actors in sarees on sets! I believe there is no excuse when it comes to health no matter what you are wearing or what you are doing. What makes me stand out as a trainer is that I organise public events doing exercises in public places where people just come for entertainment. I encourage them to do my workout and I inspire them to live healthy lifestyles. I am proud of the fact that I started a fitness centre for children in India to help them do exercise without any equipment.

kavita nalwaIf you were not doing this, what would you be doing?

Nothing else! know I was born for Kavita’s Yobics!

Who is your biggest inspiration?

My dad and my mom

What does future hold for you?

I believe that the future doesn’t hold anything for anyone. You have to hold the future by believing in God and doing good deeds (karma).
