A birthday, some coffee and lots to take away

Koffee Konnect

Koffee KonnectMompreneursIndia’s second Koffee Konnect in Bangalore saw 25 women in attendance. The event marked another successful attempt by MompreneursIndia to connect with mothers in business in Bangalore. ‎

Vijayashree Parameswaran, Founder Nuteez gave an insightful presentation and talk on understanding the Ecommerce Market Place and using the internet and marketing strategies effectively and efficiently. As someone who uses the online medium to promote and sell her lounge wear, there could have been no better person than Vijayashree to tackle this subject so easily. Most of the participants who are novices at selling on the internet came away enlightened and enriched by her talk.

Goldsmith, Jewellery designer and Instructor, Karpagam Gobalakrishnan took the women through an interesting and fun DIY session on making bracelets. She made the whole experience special by giving each woman a takeaway kit. Karpagam gave new life to the word ‘accessorising’.

MompreneursIndia Bangalore Ambassador Rincy Samuel played the perfect hostess and ensured that members and visitors alike were welcomed warmly and were treated to yummy snacks and piping hot coffee. The fun and homely factor was brought in with the celebration of Mompreneure Vijayashree’s birthday.

Since the meet was primarily for women, a good dose of shopping was also included with many Mompreneures displaying their products and making some sales as well.

The connect had a healthy mix of product and service providers including a content writer and a photographer who were impressed with the professional yet homely vibe of the meet. Overall the event was a positive platform with a positive take away.

MompreneursIndia is a community for like-minded women, running businesses that are in alignment with their values of faith and family and who want to support other women. This is a platform to network, share knowledge and contacts and benefit from strategic partnerships. Most of the members are women entrepreneurs who have gained the requisite experience in a corporate environment and feel the need to establish their own small or medium enterprise.
