Tell us about yourself, your background and what you do currently?
I am a freelance writer, avid reader and an active Blogger. My works have been published in magazines like Good Housekeeping India, Child India, Woman’s Era and Alive, and a bestselling anthology “Uff Ye Emotions 2”. I’m a Science Graduate and hold a Diploma in Creative Writing in English from IGNOU.
I love watercolour painting. I tried and realised that I am really bad at painting. But, being an optimistic, I won’t give up!
I juggle with my thoughts and ideas to give them a nice shape in the form of writing. And, I read a lot!
Tell us about any current projects or initiatives you wish to promote.
I have just published my first book ‘We Will Meet Again…”
It’s a mature love story. A tale of love and loss, and a stupid bet. It’s about believing in love, embellished with various shades of emotions, and flavours of humour and repartee.
What has been your biggest challenge in achieving your success?
I don’t think I have achieved that much to call myself a successful writer, but if I have to say, then it would be making time for writing and editing while taking care of my super-active toddler who is, of course, my first priority. However, it fills me with a sense of contentment that I have managed!
What has been your greatest achievement personally?
I am still waiting for that!
If you weren’t doing what you do now, what would you be doing?
Maybe, teaching. In the past, I had worked as a teacher.
Who has been your biggest inspiration?
My imagination! Also, I am a keen observer, so real life stories inspire me.
What does the future hold for you?
I wish I knew! But, I do hope it holds something nice. Yes, I’ll keep writing and reading for sure, maybe inspiring people with my words.
