Vanessa Pinto

I am a big believer in striving to be the best version of myself and continuous improvement.

Having come from a Chemical Engineering, Logistics and Management background, I’ve had the fortune to work with organizations who like to leave things better than they find them including EY, A.P. Moller Maersk Group and Barclays, where I have recently been promoted to an AVP, Compliance, in 2016.

While I currently am the Lead Citizenship and Charity partner ambassador for CSR efforts for Barclays’ Shared Services in Mumbai and with the NASSCOM-GTT Foundation, I must confess that this has been an absolutely enlightening aspect that sprung from my first volunteering engagement with the UN LifeLine Express in India.

I’ve had the privilege of being a Barclays’ Graduate Trainee scholarship recipient and Mountbatten fellow in New York, which afforded me the chance to work in Banking, volunteer and broaden my horizons.

Mentoring, Learning and challenging myself are areas which I feel have helped me grow and I look forward to giving back to the city I live in. From global awards in 2017 to an India Compliance Award in 2016, I am constantly humbled and honoured to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, organization and city.
