If ever there was a piece of heaven in Mumbai it has to be Suzette. I’m lucky enough to live only 2 blocks away from this fabulous French haven in Pali Hill Bandra. It’s chique, it’s got a great buzz and it’s always full of good-looking people. Heaven!
Established 2 years ago by French woman Antonia Achache along with Pierre Labail and Jeremie Sabbagh, Suzette brings Brittany to Bandra. The crepes are literally to die for – my personal favourite is the Complete (which I have with extra cheese) and a freshly squeezed strawberry juice (no additives or syrup).
Apart from a mouth-watering range of veg and non-veg crepes, the menu also features delicious Croques, salads, healthy sandwiches with freshly-baked french baguettes, croissants and delicious smoothies. You can make your own crepe or salad – but you don’t need to as the choices are fantastic! The ingredients are all fresh, and since no alcohol is served, you can have a very healthy meal indeed.
The breakfasts are great too – eggs, savoury or sweet mini crepes, french ‘petit- dejeneurs’ and energy breakfasts – served all day which is an added bonus for those of us who like to sleep in at the weekends, And they deliver, which really is brilliant, but then you’d miss out on the atmosphere…
For those of you who don’t live in Bandra there’s another one down in Nariman Point. I’m sure there will be others popping up soon – at least i hope so.
I love it. Very, very cool indeed.
