Leading women come out to celebrate the launch of WeAreTheCity India | Mumbai - WeAreTheCity India | Events, Network, Advice for Women in India

A selection of Mumbai’s finest networkers turned out for WeAreTheCity India’s launch event this week at Tote on the Turf (21 May 2014).

Over 40 organisations were represented on the night, bringing together over 100 women and men from across India to network, connect and celebrate the launch of India’s foremost online platform for professional and entrepreneurial women.

Guests at the event mingled over cocktails and canapés at the event which was sponsored by global consultancy firm, EY.

Hosting the event was Caroline Graham, Head of WeAreTheCity India, and founder and CEO of WeAretheCity, Vanessa Vallely.

Caroline said, “We would like to thank everyone who attended our launch and contributed to making the event such a success. One of the main objectives of WeAreTheCity is to bring women together to allow them to make connections and advance in their careers, and we certainly achieved that at our launch! We have already had some great feedback from the corporates and entrepreneurs who attended the event pledging their support to become WeAreTheCity Ambassadors. We are very excited about the future of our WeAreTheCity India and are very much looking forward to welcoming new members to our community and developing strategic relationships with local Indian organisations”
