Jessica Xalxo is a young professional in the fields of social change, film, writing and education. A positively empowered student, she takes on every challenge as a learning opportunity and tries her best to live life intentionally.
She has led Youth and Volunteer Outreach, designed Digital Toolkits, blogged and driven online campaigns at Safecity. She worked on the Invisible Women photo essay, the Not My Hero campaign (Bronze medal at the Creative Abbys Awards 2017) and was the Key Content Creator at the Periscope show #MySafecity.
She was a member of the Curriculum Development team at The Red Elephant Foundation (REF) where she assisted on the Non-Violent Communication curriculum and contributed to the Body Positivity Handbook.
She is currently engaged in Film Research at Rozy Roti Films and volunteers at REF. She believes in moving forward through building people up.
When she is not burrowed in a project, you can find her writing, reading and lost in the realms beyond – if she isn’t already sleeping.
