I am a young professional who aim to reach the top rugs of the corporate ladder. I am also a fiercely independent woman who wants to break stereotypes related to women whether be it on a professional front or on a personal front. A simple example of that would be while many of our girls are still stuck on not going on trips without a guy tagging along, I recently had a solo trip in a foreign country. Now talking about the professional front, I am a metallurgical engineer and hence my first job landed in a manufacturing plant. Since then I have always worked in environments where being a girl is stared upon, but with time I have made efforts that my colleagues keep my ‘being woman’ aside and focus on my work achievements.
I have done my MBA from IIM Kozhikode and currently working with Mondelez in their supply technology role. However, I always make an initiative in expanding my boundaries beyond my day job.
For example, in Mondelez I am a part of the core committee of the Women in ITS club. I recently took an initiative to celebrate Eid at work to create a more inclusive environment as we have been celebrating Diwali and Christmas
