Tell us about yourself, your background and what you do currently
I create the zing factor in Marketing! Books are my best friends, Tea is my favourite beverage and travelling to different places is my hobby. I am a Storyteller.
Tell us about any current projects or initiatives you wish to promote
I recently completed two writing projects; ‘Define 36’,which is a collection of short stories and ‘The Lift Saga’, which is a novelette. My third project revolves around motherhood and will be released early next year.
I am a working professional, while juggling two children – a daughter who is two and half years and a son, who is nine months old. I am also a debut author. I would like to emphasise that ‘I have no time’, is a myth and should not be an excuse to work towards your passion.
What has been your biggest challenge in achieving your success?
To wipe out the ‘guilt trip’ that I am not able to spend twenty-four hours a day with my babies.
What has been your greatest achievement personally?
To self-publish my first book and then within two months of releasing that, finish the second book.
If you weren’t doing what you do now, what would you be doing?
I would have been a dancer.
Who has been your biggest inspiration?
My mother. She has instilled the belief in me that we are a result of our own actions. There is a guiding force above but the miseries and sorrows we receive are because of our own doing. Nobody can write the present, past and future for a person.
What does the future hold for you?
Lot of new projects, travelling across the globe and churning out two books every year.
