I started off in the hospitality industry years ago. I enjoyed dealing with people and handling complaints. I fitted in perfectly. We moved to England in 2000 and I worked with an aerospace company. I was appreciated for my attitude towards work and was promoted sooner than expected.
I have been successfully running my own business ventures since 2008. I enjoy dealing with people through knowledge sharing and helping them evolve. I am also a model and have represented my country at the Mrs Universe and Mrs Globe competitions in 2014.
Tell us about any current projects you are involved in
My projects have always revolved around healthy cooking combined with image. As an image consultant I help women realise their potential, motivate them, and help them understand and achieve their goals.
What has been your biggest challenge in achieving your success?
There is nothing I would look say has particularly hindered my way. I always found a way around any challenge thrown at me.
What has been your greatest achievement personally?
The fact that my entire family looks up to me and appreciates my efforts has meant the most to me. To be doing things that make them proud of me feels like the greatest achievement.
If you weren’t doing what you do now, what would you be doing?
Working for a customer-focussed company for sure.
Who has been your biggest inspiration?
Many people have played small roles to inspire me.
What does the future hold for you?
Que sera sera! The future will unfold itself. All I know is I have to reach out to as many people as possible, to touch their lives and bring about that change in them. My aim is to make women believe in themselves for a better today and an even better tomorrow.
