I am passionate about behaviour Testing and Analysis. I am a keen researcher and have contributed more 120 research papers and articles published in journals of national and international repute and in proceedings of national and international conferences. I have also presented papers in national and international conferences conducted by Organizations of repute like Cambridge University (UK), University of Melbourne, University of Stirling, Scotland, University of Zurich, Switzerland, IIM etc. I have organized conferences at both National and International levels. I am a trained behaviour analyst in the quest of novel ways of spreading happiness and positivity among people.
I believe in happiness being a state of our heart not known to the mind. So, I endeavour to help people bridge the link so that the mind is trained to read and follow the heart instead of opposing it.
What has been your biggest challenge in achieving your success?
Success to me is a journey and not a benchmark to reach. I live in the moment. This moment that I am alive to happily is success for me. The greatest challenge has been to strike a balance between me time, time for family, friends and mentoring as all of these are time consuming and take a toll on my thought process completely. I am a multitasker, yet it becomes a challenge to strike a balance.
What has been your greatest achievement personally?
I have been able to decipher the code to happiness?. The secret to living a life that is contented and full of moments to cherish. I have not been born with a silver spoon yet knowing and observing people from a distance and closely both has actually helped me able to decipher the code to happily ever-after. What seems a fairy-tale can be each one’s story if and only if we so desire. And as I say this, I also want to share that life has given me my set of hardships in great amounts to learn the art of resilience. I have also been able to find a solution and key to solve life’s problems that lies in concentrating on mind health and wellbeing.
I believe that on the life scale one starts with a zero and always moves ahead. Temporary Moving backwards may again lead u to only a zero and from which u can foresee only the positive side. In fact even as per mythology, death is a state of zero from which life restarts and hence the concept of moving in negative refutes the very principle of ones being.
If you weren’t doing what you do now, what would you be doing?
I love travelling and if not for this I would have been a travel blogger or perhaps a photographer.
Who has been your biggest inspiration?
I draw inspiration from all most all beings who I meet in life and situations too. Yet my biggest inspiration is my mother. She has been the most resilient human being I have met in my life. She has had the toughest life possible and still has inculcated in me the power of smile and positive orientation in life to witness miracles. She believes that it is fine to lose all hope sometimes in life because only then we shall be able to witness miracles.
It is from here that I have imbibed my purpose of life “To be a miracle”.
What does the future hold for you?
I have a long way to go and miles to travel. I want to develop a working model of positivity continuum. I have already done the ground work and I am in the process of empirically testing it to finally make a break through in creating a model that will help in behaviour and interpersonal management accentuated with the spice of positive thinking. The model shall serve as a prerequisite to deal with the nuances of pessimism conflict, stress and interpersonal misunderstanding plaguing the society today.
I am researcher at heart and soul and hence want to create this model for the human being management by virtue of working on mind health instead of mental health at niche level and improvising societal health at a larger paradigm.
