Inspirational Woman: Monisha Doley | Author, motivational speaker and life coach

Monisha Doley

Monisha DoleyI am a life coach, motivational speaker and author of the #1 Amazon bestselling ebook, ‘Get High on Spirit’- a guidebook that takes you from feeling stuck to complete personal freedom and miracles. I am 26 years old and my background is hospitality and aviation.

I was a flight attendant with a domestic airline for a while and later I was based in the middle east where I worked for an international airline. I have travelled to almost 50 countries so far.

Tell us about any current projects

I am currently associated with a non-profit organisation called Young Champs Foundation. It is aimed at grooming and personality development of under-privileged children. Because of my background in hospitality and my current profession as a speaker and life coach, I feel I can offer guidance and training. I am also at the idea stage of creating a platform where a woman can sponsor and mentor another underprivileged woman. I will definitely need help getting this idea off the ground.

What has been your biggest challenge in achieving your success?

So far, I wouldn’t say I have faced any struggle as such. I am only learning a lot.

However my biggest challenge during my childhood was coming from a humble background and growing up in a violent environment with a very violent father. My childhood was quite challenging.

What has been your greatest achievement personally?

I was always a scholar, but still I chose the aviation industry. I have travelled around the world at a young age and now at 26 I am a bestselling author. I would say I have achieved whatever I have set my mind to.

If you weren’t doing what you do now, what would you be doing?

I couldn’t see myself doing anything other than what I am doing right now. My soul just wouldn’t be peaceful because I know am born to do exactly what I’m doing, Who has been your biggest inspiration? Close to home – my sister Barsha Doley. A more distant inspiration is Gabrielle Bernstein – a New York Times bestselling author, motivational speaker and life coach.

What does the future hold for you?

I see myself associated with a lot of women centred projects. I see myself empowering women from all walks of life – privileged or underprivileged. Also I see myself writing more books and hopefully doing a lot of television and radio shows.

About Momisha Doley

Monisha DoleyI am 26 years old, born in a small town of Lakhimpur, Assam in the north eastern region of India. I graduated from the Institute of Hotel Management and Hospitality Administration in Mumbai in 2010. I worked for Kingfisher Airlines and Qatar Airways and was in the aviation industry for almost five years. I come from a humble background and wasn’t very privileged financially so my only goal as a child was to earn a lot of money, which led me towards aviation. But just before my 25th birthday, I found myself asking BIG questions and was emotionally and spiritually drained. I had a quarter life crises! I was guided towards the self help industry and became a devoted student of metaphysics, the laws of the universe and ‘a course in miracles’. I know that I am meant to do transformational work with others. That’s why I am a life coach, motivational speaker and a self help book author today.
