Inspirational Woman: Kartika Nair | Entrepreneur, Personal development trainer, Personal Coach, YouTuber and conscious musician, SynchroShakti

Tell us about yourself, your background and what you do currently

5068530961I am 25 years old and I am a professional entrepreneur, trainer, personal coach and a higher conscious musician. I run a brand called “SynchroShakti” that is designed to empower people towards mental, emotional and spiritual freedom, through personal development, spirituality and music. I do this by conducting seminars, taking one on one coaching sessions, filming hundreds of YouTube videos, and by creating and performing conscious (empowering) music, under the genres of higher conscious music, Kirtan rock, and I am currently working on my debut reggae album titled “Love unites us”. I am one of the youngest pioneers in the personal development industry in India and also one of few female reggae and conscious music artists in India. I started walking the personal development and spirituality (not religious) path at the age of 8, and started this brand Synchroshakti, as a YouTube channel at the age of 19, while studying a bachelor in arts, triple major in psychology, media and literature in university. I am a licensed NLP practitioner and a licensed trainer, however my coaching and training in this field of personal development and spirituality, despite my age, comes from hard life lessons growing up with a lot of mental and emotional trauma and turmoil and self healing through the very practices of mindfulness and self love/forgiveness that I now share with people across the globe.

Tell us about any current projects or initiatives you wish to promote

5068530966Apart from my YouTube channel also called ‘Synchroshakti’, earlier this year, I collaborated with digital media company called PK online to create a brand new self help channel on Youtube called ‘Soul Sutra’, and that’s a project we are collectively working on bringing to the youth of our country and to the world, in the efforts to bring spiritual and personal development practices and tools to the youth in a way that they can relate to and use for their own personal excellence. Apart from the Soul Sutra channel, I am currently working on my Debut Reggae album called “Love Unites Us”, as an initiative to bring conscious empowering and positive music to India and to the world. Reggae music comes from an island in the West Indies called Jamaica, and this music is a music of emancipation, freedom and revolution, and it holds a lot of spiritual and positive roots, that I am passionate about bringing to India with this album.

What has been your biggest challenge in achieving your success?

Well being the CEO of this brand, alongside being the trainer, coach, video scriptwriter, videographer, editor, musician and performer, doing all the roles by myself, building a brand like this has been one that needs a lot of patience, but I believe the challenge has been trying to get everyday people in India to open up to the concept of personal development for their own growth and excellence, since everyone has a misconstrued idea of spirituality and personal development here in India. The challenge has been in getting people to realize how much this knowledge and practice can revolutionize their lives and you don’t need to be ashamed or mentally ill to seek help in developing your life to the best you can.

What has been your greatest achievement personally?

Being able to live my dream job is my greatest achievement. I believe establishing a stable business as a coach and trainer at this young age, defining my own hours and working hard towards my goals as a musician and speaker is my achievement. The fact that I am my own boss and that I found my purpose and path very early in life and am passionately working hard everyday towards my dreams is my greatest achievement.

If you weren’t doing what you do now, what would you be doing?

I’m sure I would be still somehow in the field of helping people, or around nature and animals, but I don’t see myself doing anything except music and personal development work in this lifetime for sure!

Who has been your biggest inspiration?

I’m very inspired by musicians who bring their own positive energy to the world and I am very inspired by spiritual teachers like Eckhart tolle and Mooji for being the living example of the truths they teach.

What does the future hold for you?

I’m intending the future to hold a lot of mindful presence, a lot of opportunities to speak and train people across the world, and to perform my music for people across the world. I do intend my videos for both the channels “Synchroshakti” and “Soul Sutra” reach the intended people and I can be blessed to keep doing this work.
