It was a kind of an innocent greed that made Aditi write letters to fashion magazine editors for goody bags, vouchers and meal passes.

Aditi SyalAnd today, she runs a content generation company that has scaled up from 2 employees to 32 people within just 2 years. A national level footballer, model, actor, entrepreneur and writer, for her, it’s not just about being able to do many things, but excelling in each one of them.

Tell us about yourself, your background and what you do currently.

I am Aditi Syal, the founder of Vocabberry , a content production company that helps brands, start ups and individuals feature creative and SEO friendly content on their websites and other online repositories. Vocabberry produces Content, Video, Graphics and much More…

Tell us about any current projects or initiatives you wish to promote:

As a part of our annual strategy, after three successful years of operations in Delhi/NCR, we’re planning to expand our operations in Mumbai starting November 2019. We started our niche with writing for specific domains such as – Travel, Fashion, Lifestyle, Luxury, Tech, IoT, Automobile, Government of India, E-commerce. The focus since 2018 is to strengthen our E-learning copy curation team. The content developed for the brands falling in this industry being – Toppr, ICAP (NOP run by Google and EY)

What has been your biggest challenge in achieving your success?

Power of Organic – I wouldn’t call it a challenge, but this is our pitch, the USP. The content calendar we create for any customer is high on creativity and SEO which sells itself. We are catalysts of organic content and endorse the same sentiments in our pitch or the workshops that are famous by the name of Content Marketing 101,102

Where it’s easier for individual led businesses or companies to generally invest on paid marketing, we run an extra mile in proving them wrong and lead by an example (Till date, Vocabberry hasn’t spent a penny on marketing and seo. Our major chunk of business gets converted via word of mouth, references, organic content, strong social media presence, events and highly underrated, ‘Self Branding’

What has been your greatest achievement personally?

Aditi SyalMy mother wanted me to get an MBA degree and run a rat race, today Vocabberry has made me equipped enough to take up guest lectures at India’s best B schools. IMT Ghaziabad, SDA Boccioni, NMIMS to name a few.

What gives me more motivation to jump out of the bed and push myself harder is the ability to inspire other women like me. Looking at my valorous speeches at various forums, many entrepreneurship/startup websites, magazines and blogs started to feature my work and write about my journey.

If you weren’t doing what you do now, what would you be doing?

I would’ve been an actress. A short heighted one, but definitely an actress. I still pursue part time modelling out of passion. But I feel, I could be a Jack! I could’ve also been a painter, a swimming coach, a professor at one of the premier B Schools, an Army Officer or a Sales Consultant in one of the fortune 50s.

By the way, I’m on the calendar of Images Bazaar This year (2019) https://bit.ly/2UogLd7

Also, giving competition to the Airtel Girl https://bit.ly/2uUhJPm

Who has been your biggest inspiration?

By the means of content delivery and media if someone has pinned stars in the sky, it would be Arnab Goswami for Republic Tv. It’s his valour and his infectious style of delivery which has changed the narrative of present time media. Second would be Malini Agarwal, an Indian digital influencer, TV host, entrepreneur and best-selling author.

What does the future hold for you?

Moving to Mumbai and expanding the market in the financial capital of India. It comes across as a Bigger. Better. Brighter market for us in terms of content and it’s time we capitalise on it right on the dot.

I wish to add a training segment in our brand which could open doorways to educational institutes and Universities.
