Tell us about yourself and your background

A spiritual seeker, an avid reader, a passionate traveller and a natural counsellor bundled all in one and working as a Life Coach through my own venture Soul Symphony. I aim at connecting my clients to their inner selves, so that they feel empowered and look for the guidance within.

A post graduate in English and possessing a degree in education, I have worked as a teacher and a trainer in the past. This experience taught me a lot and encouraged me further to enhance my capabilities as a human being and expand my horizon further to people from different walks of life. Born and brought up in a family where values remain at the epitome and materialistic dimension never came into the picture. Got married in year 2001. The journey so far has been smooth and swift with waves of happiness and sadness making entry and exit every now and then.

Tell us about the company you have set up – when did you set it up, what products or services do you provide, what is your target market?

Soul Symphony was incorporated in year 2016, with a vision to reach working women and empower them so that they become so powerful that they do not need any friend, philosopher or guide to help them sail through the difficult times.

All of us feel a need of someone who can help us unstuck when we feel stuck. We need a shoulder to cry and want someone to listen to us and help us choose what is right. Unfortunately, we do find people with whom we can share our thoughts and experiences but the guidance which we get, will be dependent on that person’s experiences in life and not ours. This becomes a real mismatch. We all are on a different journey and face unique problems. So how can the solutions be same?

Keeping this in mind, soul symphony provides Life Coaching sessions specially to women who want personal growth, who want to excel in their professional lives and who want to live a healthy and happy personal life. So the gist is that, Life coaching is a synergistic relationship between an accredited life coach and a client designed to tap into your full potential.

Why did you set up the company? / What drove you to become an Entrepreneur?

I am myself a working -women and understand the challenges one face. It is a herculean task to keep others and yourself happy at the same time. Indian women are groomed and conditioned in such a way that they feel it’s their responsibility to satisfy everyone, it’s their duty to “keep” everyone happy. In this pursuit of happiness she creates a lot of stress for herself. The happy go lucky, career oriented girl becomes an irritating mother, a demanding wife and a complaining daughter-in-law. Is this the life a girl aims at?

Certainly not.

As this is the scenario with most of the women I really felt a need to help them getting unstuck and come out of this mess. An insight is enough to bring the change in life. With this inspiration in my mind I studied NLP (neuro linguistic programming) and began my journey as a Life Coach. Furthermore, I learnt some other modalities based on intuitive sciences to help my clients in achieving what they want. These include Angel Therapy and chakra balancing. They helped me connecting to the higher self.

What has been your biggest challenge in achieving your success?

My biggest challenge was and still is to create an awareness about Life Coaching and its benefits. Though it is a new dimension in personal growth, the results of working with a life coach are very positive and enriching. You rediscover yourself.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?

When my clients achieve what they want, it act as a motivation for me and I count it as my achievement.

Who has been your biggest inspiration?

Every failure or a missed opportunity in the past has acted as an inspiration to work harder and be more focussed.

How do you balance your work life and home life?

Work and life are not separate for me. I have integrated them into one. Work and Life, cannot remain compartmentalised. They get fused into one. So the key is to train our mind to remain peaceful and in harmony even in stressful time. The stress may be from work or from personal life, if you learn to remain unaffected the productivity will not go down at work and the relationships will not suffer in your life.

What advice do you have for women starting out on their own?

Self- Belief must remain the single most powerful driving force behind you. Whenever you feel low, just count your achievements and say to yourself that you are a SUPERWOMAN! Because you have that ability and courage to stand up on your feet and you are the one who has embraced all the challenges with courage and success will embrace you!

If you could ask for one thing to help propel your business what would it be?

Awareness about Life Coaching.

What does the future hold for you?

More success, abundance and love.
