Tell us about yourself998577_552652698152616_419269490_n

I am Mansi Gulati, a USA certified international yoga trainer and dietician. My early education was in Delhi and I hold a BA degree from Delhi University. I found myself greatly influenced by yoga after graduating but I had also been meditating since the age of nine. I did my yoga training at some of the world’s best schools and acquired national and international certifications. Some of these include:

  • Yoga Certifications from Shanti Yoga Centre, Kerala and Bihar
  • Indian National Yoga Certification – Government of India
  • International Yoga Certification from Yoga Alliance International in Anatomy, Pranayama, Meditation, Core Hatha Yoga
  • Certified with rigorous yoga training practices from Feb 2010 – Dec 2011

I devoted my efforts to learn practices and philosophy of yoga to great depths. I now have over six years experience in teaching yoga. I have written several articles and will soon be publishing a book on yoga and its intricacies. The basis of my teaching philosophy is that yoga can benefit all body types through series of Asanas. Given the amount of stress people have to deal with due to their professional and personal lives, we humans are becoming more illness prone. By way of yoga, I help them manage stress which in turn helps them to manage their lives in a healthy way. I train aspirants in different verticals of yoga viz., Asthanga (Traditional) Yoga, Breathing Exercises, Vinyaasa (Power) Yoga. I specialise in Face Yoga, Clinical Yoga, Women Yoga, Weight Loss (special and advanced for Pregnancy Yoga), Laughter Yoga and Meditation.

I am associated with the Kasturba Gandhi Trust and train woman and girls in mastering yoga practices. Kasturba Gandhi Memorial Seva Trust, is a charity organisation taking care of old age people, orphans especially who have mental growth challenges and destitute women. I train them to perform yoga and transcendental meditation, aiming to help them experience better living. The transcendental meditation predominantly helps in revitalisation of the nervous and blood circulation systems and as a result one can revitalise and stabilise the body control system both mentally and physically.
