Ashok Lodha | Barclays

Ashok Lodha is a Director in the Investment Banking Division at Barclays and has been with the firm since July 2013.

He currently heads the FIF, ADS & RMG teams which are part of FiRM within Global Markets in Mumbai. In addition, he is the India co-chair for “Women’s Initiatives Network” [Win] which focuses on the firm’s gender diversity agenda.

Ashok comes with over 18 years of experience within Investment Banking. Prior to joining Barclays, he was associated with organizations like Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank where he worked in various leadership roles.

One of his achievements as a school going kid was that he owned a startup in the business outsourcing space which continues to exist till date, now managed by his family.

He’s holds a post-graduate degree in Management from Newport University, California and a graduate degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Jodhpur, Jodhpur.

He’s passionate towards working for various social and cultural causes and is associated with Ananta Centre, Mentor Me India, Mumbai and Bangalore Chapters of Jodhpur Association, Jain International Organization and BYST.

He lives in Mumbai with his wife and two kids. His interests are cooking, reading, solving Kakuro & Su-Doku puzzles and cricket.
