Aashish Kasad is a Partner with Ernst & Young’s Tax practice and is based in Mumbai, India. She is part of the Infrastructure, Industrial and Consumer Market Segment in India which specialises in serving clients in essentially the manufacturing sector. Having started her career in 1996 with Arthur Andersen, Aashish has over the past 20 years of work experience built a strong personal brand and reputation in her area of expertise advising multinational clients and Indian headquartered companies on international tax and domestic tax issues who consider her as their Trusted Business Adviser. She is the India Tax Leader for the Retail and Consumer Products sector as well as for the Chemicals sector. She is also the Diversity & Inclusion Leader for the India Sub-Area, a Member of the EY Global Diversity & Inclusion Steering Committee and viewed as a role model by many women professionals. Aashish is also the India Client Servicing Partner and Tax Account Leader on several marquee global accounts of EY. A Chartered Accountant by educational background, Aashish is a regular speaker at professional forums, in addition to having written several articles on various tax and regulatory issues.
