Tell us about yourself, your background and what you do currently

I was born and brought up in the city of White desert- Bhuj, Kutch. I did my schooling from St.Xaviers, Bhuj. For my Bachelors I moved to Ahmedabad. During my first year of college I joined AIESEC and was an active member of it. I took few leadership roles in it which helped me in developing my soft skills. I left AIESEC as I got an opportunity to see how a start-up works. It was my brother’s start-up which inspired me to start my own business someday.

Knight Food is full night (now 22hrs) delivery service in Ahmedabad. So I started working with him and handled all the social media platforms and became the social media manager. While working under him I learned a lot about entrepreneurship and marketing. While I was constantly surrounded by food all the time, it gave me a kick to explore more food joints and that is how Devil’s Red Tongue was born. It features the most amazing food in Ahmedabad with sincere reviews about cafes and restaurants.

Currently I am preparing for CAT (Common Admission Test), handling my food page- devilsredtongue (IG) and working for Knight Food as SSM.

Tell us about any current projects or initiatives you wish to promote

I have started a food and lifestyle blog and wish to share my love for food with everyone through blogging and other social media platforms.

What has been your biggest challenge in achieving your success?

Biggest challenge for me is lack of focus and procrastination. Once I overcome it, I know nothing is stopping me.

What has been your greatest achievement personally?

I haven’t tasted success yet but each sincere appreciation for my work is a small achievement for me. It feels great to get recognised for something you put your heart into.

If you weren’t doing what you do now, what would you be doing?

Then I probably would have joined some charity organisation or took up martial arts classes. I would still love to learn some form of martial arts.

Who has been your biggest inspiration?

I get inspired from everyone around me. My brother inspired me to start my business; my mother inspires me to work hard and to be humble; dad, to NEVER ever give up and friends to keep going on and to grab every opportunity that comes my way.

What does the future hold for you?

Expecting the best, prepared for the worst. Whatever comes my way, it will teach me something. So bring it on.
