The Storm

I am rowing away from the winds sailor,
They are so much stronger than I can bear,
Just when I turned to insist that you row with me,
Where did you go?

The skies are dark and marred,
The thunder may rip them apart,
Just when I thought you would hear me screaming,
Where did you go?

I have never feared the winds insofar,
But the loops are not working on my radar,
Just when I turned to you O veteran!
Where did you go?

My boat is breaking- I am on a grind,
This is what they call a blank state of mind,
Just when I needed your directions Sailor,
Where did you go?
