Sunny Leone (born Karenjit Kaur Vohra) is an actress, businesswoman and model and currently active in the Indian film industry.
In 2012 , Sunny made her Bollywood debut in Pooja Bhatt’s thriller Jism 2 (2012) and shifted her focus to mainstream acting which was followed up with Jackpot (2013), Ragini MMS 2 (2014) and Ek Paheli Leela (2015). Apart from her acting career, she has been part of various activism campaigns, which include the Rock ‘N’ Roll LA Half-Marathon, to raise Charity for the American Cancer Society. She has also posed for a People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) advertisement campaign with a rescued dog.

Tell us about the company you have set up – when did you set it up, what products or services do you provide, what is your target market?
I own several companies in India and LA with various different products and services. We manufacture cosmetics, fragrances, and are a full social media and film production house.
Why did you set up the company? / What drove you to become an Entrepreneur?
I have always been this way since I can remember. From a child I would go out and shovel snow to make money and then life went on. Each year was a new journey and chapter. I have always owned my own company so that I can dictate the success and failures… The blame is on me.
What has been your biggest challenge in achieving your success?
Every day is a challenge because every day is different. There is no guarantee of success…. Everyday is a hustle.
What has been your greatest achievement so far?
Being able to launch my own Fragrance line was a proud moment. From concept, to Manufacturing to Selling. It was amazing to watch it grow.
Who has been your biggest inspiration?
My father, Daniels Father and Amazing minds such as Richard Branson and others.
How do you balance your work life and home life?
For me it’s Simple. My husband Daniel is my Business partner so it makes it easier.
What advice do you have for women starting out on their own?
Don’t stop, Hustle everyday because if you don’t, then someone right behind you will work harder for it.
Can you recommend any organisations or networking groups that have particularly helped you on your journey?
There are so many groups in Schools and post school. FBLA, Key Club, YPO and many others for people to engage and learn from others.
If you could ask for one thing to help propel your business what would it be?
More time… We all want more time.
What does the future hold for you?
Well there are many new ventures on the horizon. That remains to be announced in the future.
