I’m a marketing and business professional with thirteen years experience in the corporate space. I graduated
from IIM-Bangalore in 2002, and I’m a writer and in the process of transitioning between jobs at the current moment. I’m a mother of three children. On weekends, I also teach Zumba fitness.
Tell us about any current projects you are involved with.
My latest book, There’s Something About You, has been launched just a couple of months ago and is being appreciated as a funny, heartwarming, A-typical love story. It can be bought on Amazon at bit.ly/amazonsomethingaboutu and in all leading stores. I’ve also got two other books out with HarperCollins, Just Married, Please Excuse (2012) and Sorting Out Sid (2014).
What has been your biggest challenge in achieving your success?
My biggest challenge has been that success is always relative and beyond a point, it seems like there’s always something else around the corner. Therefore, it is a continuous process.
Raising three kids, and also having managed to write three books in three years!
If you weren’t doing what you do now, what would you be doing?
I’d be racing up the corporate ladder, and kicking some butt at it.
Who has been your biggest inspiration?
I’m really so impressed by Sheryl Sandberg. I’m currently reading Lean In and so admire her honesty and warmth.
What does the future hold for you?
Ha ha ha! Can anyone possibly answer this question? At best, I can hope that it gives me more of what the last few years have been about – which is, love, laughter and learning!
