Crowning glory for MompreneursIndia

MompreneursIndia has the distinct honour of winning the Social Impact Content Community Award at the first #DigitalWomenAwards organised by She The People.tv held at ITC Grand, Parel yesterday. The awards are in recognition of MompreneursIndia’s efforts at connecting with mother’s in business across the country and helping them empower, educate and enrich their business experiences.

Over the past year and half, MompreneursIndia has worked with mothers in business across the country and helped them organise their businesses better through mentoring, training sessions and hands-on-workshops. Small scale home based businesses have got a boost with successful sales conducted through on-line exhibitions.

MompreneursIndia is a community for like-minded women, running businesses that are in alignment with their values of faith and family and who want to support other women. It is a platform to network, share knowledge, contacts and benefit from strategic partnerships. Most of its members are women entrepreneurs who have gained the requisite experience in a corporate environment and feel the need to establish their own small or medium enterprise.

MompreneursIndia which has chapters in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Bangalore is a strong network of more than 5000 women and the numbers are ever increasing. From home bakers, to jewellery designers, lawyers, life coaches, academicians, software professionals, dieticians, content writers, authors, fashion designers and much more; the network is a force to reckon with.

The Digital Womens Awards is organized by SheThePeople.tv an initiative by Shaili Chopra and Axis Bank to honour the brilliance, ambition and achievement of women entrepreneurs across the country.
